This model has risers with a diameter of 14 and 16 mm, thanks to which its construction is durable enough to withstand even more demanding mountain challenges. At the same time, the whole is characterized by high stability, without which it is difficult to imagine any off-road activity.
 

The aluminum poles were made of aluminum 7075 due to their mountain purpose. Its strength proves excellent in the field, which limits the risk of damage to this model. In addition, this metal is characterized by a lower susceptibility to moisture, which reduces the risk of the corrosion process. Grivel's designers used two locking systems that complement each other here. The first is a classic clamp, the strength of which can be adjusted using a screw. You can find it at the top of the Grivel sticks, so it allows you to adjust their height. Another locking technology is the Knee system. This is a special solution that causes the arches to bend and you only need to pull the aluminum locking mechanism to keep them fixed. The knee system is characterized by high stability and low susceptibility to damage.
 

Aluminum poles use extended length foam in the handle section. This means that on more difficult approaches you will be able to grip this model lower, allowing you to "pull" it a little. In addition, the foam used has quick-drying properties, so snow or rain evaporates effectively. It is supplemented with a wrist strap that improves the stability of the Grivel sticks.
