Petzl RING2RING ring for seat harnesses with textile. connection points
The RING2RING is specifically designed for use on seat harnesses with a textile connecting bridge and is primarily intended for use in helicopter evacuation. It acts as a second attachment point next to the textile eyelet, allowing the rescuer to better organize their equipment on the front attachment point of the harness and making it easier for the winch operator to access the attachment point when attaching the rescuer.
It serves as a second connection point to the textile connection eye:
- The organization is optimized for various connecting elements (rope, abseiling device, rope blocker, chest harness or other equipment)
- Fixed front connection point for better positioning and easier switching on
- The possibility of its orientation under load to optimize the position according to use
- Simple connection of the seat if necessary for long-term suspension (using stirrups)
- A small ring allows the winch operator in the helicopter to easily attach rescuers
- A large ring can hold a heavy load, such as a backpack
- Strength of the big ring: 23 kN
- Strength of the small ring: 33 kN
- Inner diameter of the big ring: 46 mm
- Inner diameter of the small ring: 31 mm
