Petzl DRY tip for dry tooling for the Quark ice axe
The DRY tip (thickness 4 mm) is specially designed for mixed and drytooling climbing. Narrowed at the tip (3.3 mm), it easily penetrates even the hardest ice. The teeth along the bottom edge, near the shaft, help when hanging on rock or over ridges of ice. The teeth on the back help to stabilize the ax when levered in an inverted position.
