MSR WINDBURNER GROUP STOVE SYSTEM gas cooker + pot 2.5 l
Unlike most gas stoves on the market, which work with an open flame, the stove is equipped with a patented technology of radiant heat, emitted by ignited magnesium foam.
The efficiency of the cooker is further increased by the heat exchanger at the bottom of the 2.5L container, which prevents wind from reaching the hot foam. The user can very finely control the fuel supply and thus regulate the burning intensity. The cooker is also equipped with an internal pressure regulator that ensures optimal operation. The advantage of this solution is the practically zero effect of the wind on the operation of the stove and the saving of fuel.
The superiority of this technology over conventional stoves will become more visible the worse the weather conditions will be.
The 2.5L large container itself is made of light aluminum alloy and is equipped with a non-stick ceramic surface. The aluminum lid of the container is partially perforated so that it can be used for pouring (e.g. pasta). For more convenient pouring, a small hook is attached to the edge of the container, which holds the lid of the container. The container holder is collapsible and in the folded state holds the lid of the container so that it does not open during transport.
The cartridge with the flame regulator is separated from the stove with the vessel itself, which ensures significantly better stability compared to conventional solutions where the stove with the vessel is screwed onto the cartridge. The wide folding legs of the stove enhance the stability of the entire system. The cooker, even with a 230 g cartridge, can be packed into a cooking container to achieve maximum compactness.
