Mountain Equipment Glacier 300 - REG women's sleeping bag

Quality sleep is one of the basic requirements for full regeneration during any outdoor activity. The Mountain Equipment GLACIER 300 sleeping bag has an upper material resistant to water and wind and is still very breathable. The sleeping bag is filled with duck feathers and, together with the elaborate construction, will allow you to sleep comfortably even at -1 °C.

DRILITE® LOFT
DRILITE® LOFT 30 D is a strong and light ( 55 g/m2) waterproof surface material with a PU coating, which creates a great sleeping bag for bivouacs. It also has a water-repellent DWR treatment on the surface, which contributes even more to keeping the feathers dry even in wet conditions. The feathers are thus protected from getting wet and thus also from losing their heat-insulating properties. Thanks to its water resistance and low weight, the feathers maintain a high loft for maximum thermal insulation in any conditions.

The SUPERSOFTTM 30 inner material is chosen for its low weight (49 g/m2), high breathability, exceptional durability and pleasant feeling to the touch. It is also a feather-proof material.

Quality duck feathers with 700+ fill
Very high-quality duck feathers from China contain at least 90% down, their filling is at least 700 cuin and meets the ethical DOWN CODEX®. The feathers are gently cleaned with water without chemical treatment. This destroys mites and the environment for their life, which will be appreciated by allergy sufferers. The feathers retain their important fatness and loft, are easily packable, have high insulation and low weight.

YKK® zipper with automatic lock
In the Mountain Equipment sleeping bag, you will not experience the unpleasant feeling of waking up at night with the zipper open, because it has a zipper lock and will not unzip on its own. With a simple pull, you release the lock and open the sleeping bag only when you want. It works even after freezing - a high-quality zipper from the manufacturer YKK® is used for comfortable fastening without snagging. This particular zipper works without problems even in the cold and you can rely on it at any time.

DOWN CODEX® – a symbol of an ethical approach to animal husbandry
DOWN CODEX® is a control of the origin of feathers, its quality, ethical and ecological approach to animal husbandry. Every year, the farms from which Mountain Equipment buys feathers are inspected by the independent Swiss organization IDFL to meet the highest quality parameters. This guarantees a high quality of living conditions for the animals and thus also the quality of the feathers. One does not work without the other.
  • Each product with feathers has a unique code, under which you can find the origin of the feathers and its parameters.
  • A comprehensive and transparent system for auditing the origin of feathers, from all brands and anywhere in the world.
In Mountain Equipment products , feathers are always just a by-product of meat or egg farming.
