- Vario is a new system of accessories and replaceable tips for Grivel ice axes
- all Vario spare parts are very light and made of durable steel
- the spare tip is intended for all new ice axes of the Machine series: THE LIGHT MACHINE, THE NORTH MACHINE ( CARBON variant), THE TECH MACHINE, THE DARK MACHINE and THE DARK MACHINE X
- the tip can be mounted to ICE VARIO, TOTAL ICE VARIO, ALPINE VARIO and TOTAL DRY VARIO tips
- the tip serves as a blank to the opposite side of the tip, unless a shovel or hammer is mounted on the ax
- one piece is always included in the package for the above mentioned spare tips, so it is necessary to purchase an additional tip only if you own an ax with a shovel/hammer and want to remove them
- screws and nuts are included in the package
- the Vario system is also compatible with older models of Machine ice axes (the hammer/blade and tip must always be Vario marked)
