The Arc range is built on the Silva Jet 2.0 needle and a refined capsule design. The new needle was designed to provide the perfect balance between speed and stability and was tested by elite orienteering runners throughout the development process. The combination of the new capsule and needle gives you a compass with first-class performance in speed and settling time, transparency and unmatched needle stability.
Customize your Arc Jet 360
The thumb base plate has a unique cut-out design that provides perfect contact between the thumb and the map, and an attachable thumb plate for those who prefer a more classic thumb hold. Simply slide it onto the motherboard with a simple click, try it out and see what you like best. In addition, the thumb straps are easy to adjust and come in two versions, soft and firm. Both are included in the package and are rubberized inside for optimal friction - so the compass stays in place and fits comfortably in the hand.
If you want to add map scales to your compass so you can easily measure distances on the map for orienteering, simply stick one of the included scale stickers to the base plate. The Arc Jet 360 compass comes with four different scales: 1:15k, 1:10k, 1:7.5k or 1:4k.
