Mountain Equipment Glacier 1000 Regular women's sleeping bag

Quality sleep is one of the basic requirements for full regeneration during any outdoor activity. The Mountain Equipment GLACIER 1000 down sleeping bag has an upper material resistant to water and wind and is still very breathable. The sleeping bag is filled with duck feathers and, together with the elaborate construction, will allow you to sleep comfortably even at -25 °C.

You choose the GLACIER 1000 if you are looking for a really warm sleeping bag for winter use and in which you can sleep comfortably in the Alps and on a glacier in severe frosts.

Outer material - DRILITE® LOFT 30 D
The surface material DRILITE ® LOFT 30 D is strong, light (55 g/m2) and waterproof. It has a PU coating and also has a water-repellent DWR treatment on the surface, which contributes even more to keeping the feathers dry even in wet conditions. The feathers are thus protected from getting wet and thus also from losing their heat-insulating properties. Thanks to its water resistance and low weight, the feathers maintain a high loft for maximum thermal insulation in any conditions.

Inner material - 100% recycled SUPERSOFTTM 20
The 100% recycled SUPERSOFTTM 20 inner material is chosen for its low weight (37 g/m2), high breathability, exceptional durability and pleasant touch. It is also a feather-proof material.

Quality duck feathers with 700+ fill
Very high-quality duck feathers originating from China contain at least 90% down, its filling is at least 700 cuin and meets the ethical DOWN CODEX®. The feathers are gently cleaned with water without chemical treatment. This destroys mites and the environment for their life, which will be appreciated by allergy sufferers. Feathers retain their important fatness and loft, are packable well, have high insulation and low weight.

Protective collar
To prevent the heat from escaping from the sleeping bag, there is a down 3D collar on the inside that fills the space around the shoulders and neck. That's how the sleeping bag is "plugged". There is less feather density in the collar to precisely mold to the shape of your shoulders and neck. The all-certain Lode Lock™ magnetic stud, which you can intuitively fasten and unfasten with one hand.

Insulation pad under the zipper
The weakest point of sleeping bags is usually the zipper. The triangular leg rest is filled with feathers and synthetic, which fits the sleeping bag. The synthetics prevent the feathers from moving along the leg and at the same time insulates even when wet. The zipper is located in the lower half of the sleeping bag so that the heat that rises up does not escape through the zipper.

YKK ® zipper with automatic lock
In the Mountain Equipment sleeping bag, you will not experience the unpleasant feeling of waking up at night with the zipper open, because it has a zipper lock and will not unzip on its own. With a simple pull, you release the lock and open the sleeping bag only when you want.
  • It works even after freezing - a high-quality zipper from the manufacturer YKK ® is used for comfortable fastening without snagging. This particular zipper works without problems even in the cold and you can rely on it at any time.
Warm bivouac sleeping bag
The GLACIER 1000 sleeping bag is very warm, spacious and resistant to moisture. It is ideally suited for treks in high mountains with bivouacs under the open sky or, in a tent, but also for winter bivouacs in the grave. You don't have to worry that your feathers will get wet even when touching the snow, this sleeping bag will retain its properties even when you sleep outside for many nights in a row.
