Ultralight ice ax with steel head, perfect for glacier tours or competitive ski mountaineering. The Corsa Alpine ice ax is made of aluminum alloy (handle) and the head is made of 3 mm thick durable steel. Grinding in the head reduces weight. The lower part of the handle is equipped with a nylon plug that prevents snow from accumulating. The anti-slip handle is made of mechanical grinding. The CAMP Corsa Leash, which is not included, can also be attached to the leash.
This ice ax is not suitable for glacier and mixed climbing.
