Petzl PIXA Z1 headlamp
Robust and multi-purpose PIXA Z1 headlamp. The combined light cone adapts to all situations: work on site, movement around the workplace and long-distance afterglow. Meets the certification requirements of ATEX zone 1/21 (II 2 GD Ex ib IIB T4 Gb IIIB T135 ° C Db) for work in an explosive environment.

Several lighting modes adapt to every situation:
- For on-site work: uniform diffused light cone (30 lm)
- For movement around the workplace: a mixed cone with focused and diffused light allows the user to move comfortably (70 lm)
- For a distant afterglow: a fogged cone of light (100 lm)
Lighting for professionals that is reliable, practical and durable:
- The storage position protects the lamp lens and prevents accidental switching on
- Automatically switches to backup mode when the batteries are almost completely discharged (signaled by a flashing light and a red indicator)
- The rotary switch is ergonomic and easy to operate, even with gloves excellent resistance to falls (2 m), impact and crushing (80 kg)
- Comfortable and washable headband
- Resistant to chemicals
For use in explosive atmospheres:
- Certification for ATEX zone 1/21 (II 2 GD Ex ib IIB T4
- Protection index IP67 (waterproof up to 1 meter for 30 minutes; no maintenance required)
- Supplied with 2 x AA/LR06 alkaline batteries as standard
- Ni-MH rechargeable batteries only for use outside ATEX environment, lithium batteries cannot be used
