PELTONEN cross-country skis
Already in 1945, Peltonen started producing cross-country skis in Finland, thanks to the talented skier and craftsman Toivo Peltonen. Peltonen's history in cross-country skiing is as long as the history of the production of these skis - Toivo Peltonen used his own skis for racing, on which he won in regional races . The first Olympic medals on Peltonen skis were won in 1972 in Sapporo by Yuri Skobov and Vladimir Voronko (USSR). Over the next decades of ski production, many revolutionary changes took place in the development of skis and ski equipment, and of course in production technologies. But what drives us forward throughout all this time is the passion for cross-country skiing and innovation.
