On the one hand, it allows for multiple inflations per charge, and at the same time , its weight is comparable to the lightest mechanical solutions of rescue systems ( systems with a pressure cartridge ). Thanks to 27 liters of usable volume, you can pack everything you need for hikes, and there is also the possibility of attaching skis, an ice ax, poles, a hydro bag or a helmet. Everything at hand
The main pocket has a waterproof two-way zipper that can be opened sufficiently and you can see everything clearly and immediately. The interior is bright for better orientation in the dark. In the main pocket there is a compartment for avalanche equipment, a clip for a water reservoir. There is a small pocket in the front for a map, compass and other navigational equipment. There is also a plastic carabiner for keys in this bag.
Simply elegant and durable
The avalanche backpack AVABAG LiTRIC ZERO 27 has no unnecessary straps and rubber bands, but only functional elements. ORTOVOX designers took care of a very clean look even when you carry an ice axe, helmet and skis. Although the backpack is made of soft to the touch material, the Dyneema ® fabric used is extremely tear-resistant and very light. Every detail of the backpack is well-crafted, durable materials are used, so you don't have to worry about ski edges or ice ax tips.

Two strong outdoor brands, German Ortovox and Canadian Arc'teryx, joined forces and created a new rescue system for avalanche backpacks. The airbag is filled with ambient air using a fan that draws energy from a supercapacitor. LiTRIC combines the advantages of both electronic and mechanical systems. 100% made in Bavaria.
A supercapacitor is a capacitor with a very high electrical capacity.
Unlike a battery that uses electrochemical reactions, a capacitor stores energy through a static charge. A supercapacitor is ideal when a short-term large output of electricity is needed. This is exactly what an avalanche backpack fan needs to fill the airbag with ambient air. With LiTRIC, the energy source is an integrated Li-Ion battery, which you know from a mobile phone. Recharging is very simple - via the USB-C cable that is included in the package. Charging takes 2-3 hours. It is possible to activate the airbag twice for one charge, but after the first activation it is necessary to wait approximately 25 minutes for the supercapacitor to regenerate and the second inflation to take place without problems. On the side of the backpack, in the place of the system, there is a mesh window through which you can see the traffic light, indicating the charging status of the system ( Green/Orange/Red).
