Women's functional insulating vest SWISSWOOL PIZ GRISCH VEST W with insulation from Swiss wool SWISSWOOL® (90 g/m 2 ), insulates heat even when wet and has excellent thermoregulatory properties. The outer material, Pertex® Quantum, which is resistant to water and wind, also prevents heat loss. The moment you finish a physically demanding ascent, you turn the vest with the dry side to your body and enjoy comfortable warmth and dryness. The sweaty side dries in a few minutes.

- One side is equipped with two side pockets with a wool lining, which will always keep your hands warm. On the other side, there is a large breast pocket in which you can put, for example, a mobile phone.

Pertex® Quantum - resistance to water and wind
The Pertex® Quantum material is a densely woven material from recycled polyamide that does not blow out and is also highly breathable. Thanks to its ripstop weave, it is resistant to abrasion and tearing, even though it is soft and pliable to the touch. It is very light and pleasant to wear. The vest is double-sided and the Pertex® Quantum material can be found on both sides.
SWISSWOOL® – the story of renewed Swiss sheep breeding
Natural resources are often better materials than any synthetics. The hair of Swiss sheep is an example of this. Although it is not as soft as Merino, ORTOVOX decided to use its potential for insulating layers and with its idea significantly helped sheep breeding and local farmers.
SWISSWOOL® is a comfortable insulation made from strips of Swiss wool. These are placed in the individual panels of the jacket, thanks to which they stay in place and do not move. This wool insulation is ideal for active movement, because wool absorbs up to 35% of moisture into its core, so you feel dry even during high physical activity. Moreover, compared to synthetic insulation material, it degrades only negligibly and retains its properties for many years.

Fleece vest, insulated vest and softshell in one
You can use the women's vest ORTOVOX PIZ GRISCH VEST W as an outer layer and you don't have to worry about wet snow or drizzle. At the same time, it replaces the softshell, because it does not blow away. You can also use it as an insulated vest under a hardshell, and it is an excellent substitute for a fleece vest, and it is even lighter.

You can use the versatility of the ORTOVOX PIZ GRISCH vest in a color combination with other clothes. However , the main idea of versatility in the SWISSWOOL LIGHT line is functionality. The insulation layer made of wool perfectly absorbs sweat and wicks it away from the skin. However, the moisture is absorbed gradually, so when you stop, you simply turn the jacket dry side to your body and you will immediately feel comfortable. Meanwhile, your sweaty side will dry.
