POC Fornix MIPS Hydrogen White Matt ski helmet
The ventilation system can be regulated. The EPS core is very successful in its shape. The top of the core is protected by an aramid layer, which protects during the fall and at the same time dissipates the energy that is developed during the fall.
Thanks to the possibility of size adjustment, this helmet can be very well adapted to the size of the skier's head. Another feature is MIPS technology. The aim of this technology is to eliminate the rotational forces that act on the head in the event of a fall and subsequent impact on the piste. When impacted at any angle, the MIPS system allows the EPS shell of the helmet to rotate independently around the head. Although this movement is only in the order of a few millimeters, we believe that MIPS technology significantly reduces the amount of rotational force that could otherwise be transmitted to the brain.
