POC POCito Fornix MIPS children's helmet, fluorescent pink
This top-of-the-line half-shell helmet for kids from POC has a lot of great features. Among the main ones is the size adjustment system, when the helmet "grows" together with the child. The helmet is well ventilated, while the ventilation can also be adjusted as desired. All POC POCito Fornix children's helmets have bright colors with which the child will not get lost in the snow, which are complemented by reflective elements.
The goal of the new MIPS technology is to eliminate rotational forces that act on the head in the event of a fall and subsequent impact on the slope. In an impact at any angle, the MIPS system allows the EPS shell of the helmet to rotate independently around the head. Although this movement is only on the order of a few millimeters, we believe that MIPS technology significantly reduces the amount of rotational force that would otherwise be transmitted to the brain.
The RECCO® system works on the principle of radio waves, when rescuers can find you, e.g. when buried by an avalanche. The system does not need to be recharged in any way.
