Kohla To Go Green Line ski-alp belt wax
Impregnation wax for ski alpine ski tracks restores the slipperiness of the tracks, extends their lifespan and protects against moisture - the tracks are fast again and snow does not stick to them.All KOHLA climbing belts are factory-impregnated, which improves their driving properties, prevents fibers from absorbing moisture from wet snow, repels dirt and protects against mechanical damage. However, the factory impregnation will wear out with frequent use. Snow will start to build up on wet hairs and pedaling can become unnecessarily difficult. You can easily use KOHLA impregnation wax during your hike and save yourself a lot of effort. The waxed hair of the belts suffers significantly less from dry rubbing and thus its service life is longer.
Impregnation procedure at home:
- Spread the wax on the dry and clean strips glued to the skis in the direction of the hairs.
- Iron it with a warm iron. Iron the belt only once, from tip to heel.
- Let the wax harden for an ideal 12 hours.
Procedure for impregnation on a hike:
- Leave the strips stuck to the skis, clean them and, if possible, dry them in the sun
- Spread the wax onto the strips in the direction of the hair growth.
- We rub the waxed hair under pressure with a leather glove so that we heat the wax through friction.

Waxing improves belt slippage, protects against mechanical wear and extends belt life.
