You're looking at a thoroughbred all-rounder, between cross country boots. Amphibious, which playfully copes with the pitfalls of the trail as well as with longer sections on asphalt. This is mainly due to the redesigned sole with a shallow pattern combining three different hard rubber compounds for an optimal combination of grip and durability. The TRAIL TALON 235 model is specific for its great feel for the terrain while maintaining surprisingly comfortable damping.
On your feet, the 235 feels like an incredibly comfortable slipper, but as soon as you hit the trail, thanks to the newly redesigned upper, you'll find that you can rely on this shoe 100% in terms of foot protection and stability.
Unlike its more robust sibling – the TRAIL TALON 290 model – the 235 is the ideal shoe for more experienced runners with a midfoot technique and for anyone who prefers a reduced cushioning layer with good proprioception and a great feel for the terrain. In addition to the lower damping layer, this also corresponds to a drop of 4 mm.
In addition to the new color variant, the essential novelty for 2020 is a completely redesigned upper. It still has a width of 4 (Standard fit), but it is made of a much stronger and more durable fabric and the number of TPU reinforcements stabilizing the instep has also increased. Thanks to these changes, the TRAIL TALON 235 sits on the foot just as well as its predecessor, but with its characteristics in the trail, it is closer to the legendary RACE ULTRA 270.
