A new version of the best-selling waterproof running jacket from inov-8. It is not for nothing that the INOV-8 STORMSHELL won the hearts of so many runners. Reliable protection against wind and water in a 174 gram package.The cornerstone is the proven 2.5L Pertex Shield membrane with parameters of 20,000/20,000. This is the water column and breathability according to the B-1 method. Both of these values are among the best a runner can wish for. 20,000 mm water column supported by surface DWR treatment will withstand even intense cloudbursts in higher mountain locations, and 20,000 B-1 breathability will ensure effective sweat removal even during highly intensive movement. These values clearly meet the criteria of all running races where a waterproof jacket is part of the mandatory equipment.
In addition to technical parameters, the sophisticated cut is also important, thanks to which the jacket does not flap anywhere and fits perfectly without restricting freedom of movement. This also applies to the adjustable hood, which is definitely a must-have.
Another key element is packability. STORMSHELL packs into its own pocket, resulting in a miniature package that fits in a pants pocket and takes up virtually no space.
