Petzl RAD SYSTEM rescue kit with rope
The complete, ultra-light and compact RAD SYSTEM (Rescue And Descent) set allows ski alpinists in mountain terrain to always have the necessary equipment for glacier rescue, rappelling or short ascent. The set includes a storage bag, 30 meters of RAD LINE cord with a diameter of 6 mm, carabiners, blockers and a sewn strap loop, equipment necessary to assemble the hoist.
A complete, ultra-light and very compact set:
- 30 m hyperstatic lines RAD LINE 6 mm, specially developed for crevasse rescue, abseiling and short rope ascents
- 3 Sm'D SCREW-LOCK carabiners
- 1 TIBLOC emergency rope blocker
- 1 pulley with NANOTRAXION blocker to prevent back slippage
- 1 stitched strap loop ST'ANNEAU 120 cm
- equipment is stored in a storage bag
- The ideal solution for cross-country ski alpinists
- The cord is folded for immediate use, eliminating the risk of knots or twisting
- Two loops on the outside of the case to attach to a harness or inside a backpack
- Sewn material loops on the upper side of the bag for attaching all the components of the set
- Ice screw loop on the outside of the bag
- Weight only 660 g per 30 m
- Hyperstatic line with rough braid for excellent handling and speed control when abseiling or braking when catching a fall into a crevasse
- The hyperstatic line has an elongation of less than 2%, which facilitates rescue and eliminates the yo-yo effect during abseiling or hauling with a hoist
