Petzl CROLL S chest blocker
The CROLL chest rope blocker is intended for rope ascents. It is easy to use thanks to the shaped safety, which is fully integrated into the blocker's body to prevent it from being caught unintentionally. Connection holes ensure effective placement on the chest during ascent. It is available in two versions to adapt to different rope diameters. It is used in conjunction with the ASCENSION manual rope blocker for rope ascents.
Easy to use and effective:
- The latch is opened by pinching the fuse for easy and quick handling
- The safety latch is fully integrated into the body of the blocker to prevent snagging
- The spiked cam, with a self-cleaning groove, optimizes performance under any conditions (frozen or muddy ropes...)
- The stainless cam has better corrosion resistance
- The lower connection hole is turned in the axis so that the blocker remains flat on the chest
- Top hole for attaching the SECUR shoulder strap to keep the blocker in the desired position
It is produced in two sizes:
- CROLL S: compact and light rope blocker. This version has a rope groove reinforced with stainless steel for very harsh environments
- CROLL L: rope blocker with a wide groove for the rope for excellent fluidity during ascents
