BEAL Wall School Unicore rope 10.2 mm, blue
Wall School UNICORE® is a rope with a diameter of 10.2 mm designed specifically for closed spaces for artificial walls. It is only certified as a simple rope. Thanks to the lower diameter of the rope, it is suitable for younger climbers and children, who will work with it more easily than with a rope with a diameter of 10.5 mm. The advantage is the reinforced smooth braid, which guarantees greater resistance to abrasion and easier passage through expressways, for example when pulling the rope. It is made using the patented UNICORE® technology, which connects the core and the braid. In the case of the need to shorten the rope without the possibility of sealing the ends, it is an advantage that the rope does not fray. And further, if you damage the braid while climbing, it will not go down even with the braid down. You can also buy the rope in the Lock Up variant, where a safety eye with a BEAL Twin Smith Captive carabiner with a double lock is sewn on one end. The Lock Up School variant facilitates and greatly speeds up the tying of climbers in a group and also guarantees safety, when it is enough to click the rope of the carabiner into the belaying eye of the seat (when belaying with a rope via the upper belaying point - "Top rope"). The end of the rope with a carabiner fully replaces the pricked figure eight knot.
