Women's shorts have been specially created in our MERINO SHIELD ZERO product line for the needs of all those who need to rely on their equipment for long climbing days, but still need their equipment to be light enough. These climbing shorts are made of abrasion-resistant material that is also stretchy, light and breathable.

MERINO SHIELD ZERO
Protection and light weight: As the main material of the ORTOVOX MERINO SHIELD ZERO collection, they used a mixture of polyamide and elastane. Thanks to the chosen combination of materials, the resulting fabric is light, breathable, but at the same time very durable. The MERINO SHIELD ZERO range is water-repellent thanks to DWR technology.
The highest quality Merino wool
ORTOVOX uses only the highest quality Merino wool from Tasmania. Merino wool is a material that degrades only negligibly over time and retains its functional properties for many years. Merino wool comes only from selected farms that meet the strict ORTOVOX WOOL PROMISE (OWP) standards.
ORTOVOX obtains new merino wool from certified sheep farms that adhere to ethical principles of animal treatment.
Only wool from Tasmanian sheep meets the demanding requirements of the ORTOVOX brand.
These farms are regularly monitored as part of the OWP. The wool itself is 100% ecological and therefore extremely environmentally sustainable. Merino wool provides perfect comfort and a feeling of softness thanks to the thin fibers that make up fine woolen yarns. In addition, this wool perfectly regulates temperature and wicks away sweat, so you will feel comfortable in any conditions. In addition, Merino wool neutralizes odors thanks to its antibacterial effects, and it is very easy to care for.
