Ortovox Freeride 3-finger gloves

ORTOVOX MERINO FREERIDE men's three-finger gloves are technically refined, thanks to which they will become your great partner for fantastic freeriding adventures. Thanks to the precise processing, these gloves are extremely durable and have a long service life. The two-layer upper material is wind and waterproof and is additionally supplemented with a functional Sympatex® membrane. The filling is made from scraps of merino wool, which will provide the necessary insulation. High-quality goat leather on the palms guarantees a good grip even when wet. Thanks to the double width adjustment on the wrist and cuff, the women's gloves can be optimally adjusted and effectively protect the hands from the cold and wind. Inside is pleasantly soft FLEECE LIGHT GRID material with fine merino wool, which ensures optimal regulation of temperature and humidity. If your hands are cold in the winter, but at the same time you don't want to have limited movement of all fingers like in mittens, ORTOVOX FREERIDE are your first choice.

Sympatex ^® membrane

For the new collection of technical gloves, ORTOVOX decided to use the non-porous Sympatex® membrane, which guarantees perfect protection against water and wind. In addition, it is excellently breathable. Unlike other membrane technologies, the Sympatex® compact non-porous membrane is based on a physical and chemical principle. The water-attracting (hydrophilic) part of the membrane absorbs moisture from the body and evaporates it outside. Since the membrane does not have pores, the breathability is not limited by particles of dirt, salt crystals or washing powder residues and thus has a longer life.

The highest quality Merino wool

ORTOVOX uses only the highest quality Merino wool from Tasmania. Merino wool is a material that degrades only negligibly over time and retains its functional properties for many years. Merino wool comes only from selected farms that meet the strict ORTOVOX WOOL PROMISE (OWP) standards.

ORTOVOX obtains new merino wool from certified sheep farms that adhere to ethical principles of animal treatment.
Only wool from Tasmanian sheep meets the demanding requirements of the ORTOVOX brand.

These farms are regularly monitored as part of the OWP. The wool itself is 100% ecological and therefore extremely environmentally sustainable. Merino wool provides perfect comfort and a feeling of softness thanks to the thin fibers that make up fine woolen yarns. In addition, this wool perfectly regulates temperature and wicks away sweat, so you will feel comfortable in any conditions. In addition, thanks to its antibacterial effects, Merino wool neutralizes odors and is very easy to care for.

Full-finger gloves from ORTOVOX

This legendary German company named Ortovox has been specializing in challenging mountain activities since 1980. They became popular, thanks to their avalanche transceiver ORTOVOX F2. It had a double frequency transceiver for searching avalanche victims. Except for safety systems and finders, they also offer apparel, backpacks, shovels, probes, and other freeride and alpine equipment.
