Ortovox 140 Cool headband, pacific/green

ORTOVOX 140 COOL HEADBAND is a light headband made from a combination of Merino wool and cool TENCEL® fiber. It is elastic and quick-drying, which makes it suitable for wearing under a helmet. It contains a large amount of Merino wool, which perfectly regulates temperature, wicks away moisture and has antibacterial effects.

For climbing in cool rock walls on hot summer days. The ORTOVOX 140 COOL HEADBAND guarantees pleasant warmth when going hard in the alpine terrain. Made in Europe, the 140 COOL range combines fine merino wool with TENCEL™ lyocell cellulose fiber and boasts impressive properties - temperature and humidity regulation. This lightweight cap is quick-drying and extremely comfortable, yet provides the durability needed for high-altitude use.

The highest quality Merino wool

ORTOVOX uses only the highest quality Merino wool from Tasmania. Merino wool is a material that degrades only negligibly over time and retains its functional properties for many years. Merino wool comes only from selected farms that meet the strict ORTOVOX WOOL PROMISE (OWP) standards.
  • ORTOVOX obtains new merino wool from certified sheep farms that adhere to ethical principles of animal treatment.
  • Only wool from Tasmanian sheep meets the demanding requirements of the ORTOVOX brand.
These farms are regularly monitored as part of the OWP. The wool itself is 100% ecological and therefore extremely environmentally sustainable. Merino wool provides perfect comfort and a feeling of softness thanks to the thin fibers that make up fine woolen yarns. In addition, this wool perfectly regulates temperature and wicks away sweat, so you will feel comfortable in any conditions. In addition, Merino wool neutralizes odors thanks to its antibacterial effects, and it is very easy to care for.

Uncompromising two-year warranty

ORTOVOX products are made of the highest quality, which is why solving any complaints is really easy. If you discover a manufacturing defect, be it a fraying seam, external fraying or a non-functioning zipper, just send the product to us and we will take care of its repair, replacement or refund. For non-warranty repairs, ORTOVOX has its own service center where they repair everything.

This legendary German company named Ortovox has been specializing in challenging mountain activities since 1980. They became popular, thanks to their avalanche transceiver ORTOVOX F2. It had a double frequency transceiver for searching avalanche victims. Except for safety systems and finders, they also offer apparel, backpacks, shovels, probes, and other freeride and alpine equipment.
