2.5 layer DRILITE® membrane
Each part of the ZENO WOMEN'S JACKET is made of 2.5 layer DRILITE® membrane. Thanks to this, it weighs almost nothing, but is still waterproof and breathable. This great piece is worth having ready in your backpack at all times. Once the weather kicks in, you're dry.
DRILITE® is a hydrophilic, monolithic polyurethane membrane that has all three important properties – water resistance, breathability and abrasion resistance. Its water column is 20,000 mm, and in terms of breathability, the water vapor permeability reaches a value of 20,000 g/sqm/24. The membrane works on the principle of water vapor transport through the molecular structure of the membrane and at the same time forms a barrier against the passage of water molecules from the outside. The advantage of this membrane is its low weight and good packability.
The most perfect seams
Small details make a big difference. Mountain Equipment hardshell jackets are sewn using smooth seams. You won't see any threads on the outside of the jacket. A jacket sewn in this way will last much longer, because the seam threads do not rub against the backpack, rock and other objects. Thanks to this, the absorption of moisture into the seam threads is also prevented, making the jacket even more resistant to getting wet. In addition, all seams are taped with waterproof tapes.

A full-fledged backup waterproof jacket for your travels
ZENO WOMEN'S JACKET has two zippered mesh pockets. The ventilation in the armpits, equipped with YKK® zippers, will also serve you well. The ends of the sleeves are tapered for a better fit and protection from the elements. At the same time, they are adjustable using Velcro cuffs.
The perfectly fitting women's Alpine fit cut, the adjustable Mountain Hood hood, the YKK® fully reversible main zipper with lamination, are a guarantee of protection when the weather turns bad and there is still a long way to go home or to the mountain hut.
