Karpos Lyskamm Evo jacket
The Karpos Lyskamm Evo winter outdoor jacket is ideal as a warming layer for climbers or ski alpinists. It is made of windproof K-Shell material and a pair of synthetic insulation Polartec ® Alpha Contact and Primaloft ® Gold Cross Core, which provide excellent thermal insulation and breathability despite their low weight. Thanks to its excellent technical parameters , the jacket can be easily folded into the hood and stored in the backpack.Polartec ® Alpha ® technology
The latest form of synthetic insulation that provides excellent warmth and breathability with minimal weight and volume. Alpha ® created high thermal insulation without the use of down materials. It differs from traditional insulation found in racing clothing with a sandwich construction made of elastic and breathable materials.
Primaloft Gold Cross Core
To achieve greater comfort and higher performance, the Primaloft Gold insulation was enriched with airgel. Silica airgel was originally developed and used by NASA in its space program. It is characterized by a highly porous structure and low density, which create a thermal barrier eliminating cold and heat. Composed of more than 95% air, it is the lightest solid material ever developed and one of the most effective insulators. The developers of PRIMALOFT managed to find a unique way to integrate airgel into individual fibers. Thanks to this, insulation for outdoor clothing was created, which can handle extremely demanding climatic conditions without any problems.
K-Shell material
Windproof, durable and flexible fabric with various softshell constructions, which are equipped with a thin and medium thick layer of insulation.
