The Climbing Technology Berry Set DY 17 cm climbing rope is a super light version based on a thin dyneema strap, here in a slightly longer version than the standard one. A universal expander designed for easy and convenient attachment using fixed and wire carabiners.
Climbing Technology Berry Set DY 17 cm Climbing Express combines a range of technologies that provide support during climbing. The ergonomic shape of the hot-forged carabiners in combination with the robust, ultra-light dyneema strap creates a universal expander that will prove itself in sport climbing and mountaineering.
The Climbing Technology Berry Set DY 17 cm model also consists of two carabiners made of light alloys using the hot forging method. Thanks to this, each of them is characterized by high strength and sophisticated geometry. Colored anodizing (blue and yellow) fulfills three basic tasks in addition to its purely decorative function: it facilitates the control of carabiner wear and the speed of their wear; enables easy location of the device on the wall.
The Climbing Technology Berry Set DY 17 cm express carabiners have several features that make it easier to work with the express. On the upper carabiner, the simple solid lock was "improved" with grooves to improve the grip. You will appreciate the grooves for the best grip on both sides of the lock during difficult ascents - wherever the position of the body is far from rest. There is a Catch-Free locking system (toothless lock). Thanks to this, the handling of the carabiner when attaching and detaching is much smoother.
The bottom carabiner - with an ultralight wire lock - uses an innovative surface treatment that eliminates the sharp tooth. The patented FG (Free Gate) locking system is the equivalent of a lock with a key in fixed locks. It closes the cavity in the carabiner so that any object that might get caught slides smoothly out of the lock.
Climbing Technology Berry Set DY 17 cm climbing express uses the Fixit solution in the lower carabiner - a rubber strip that holds the lower carabiner in the correct position, making it easier and faster to fasten the rope. It also has a positive effect on the strength of the tape and protects it from possible abrasion.
