Petzl ATTACHE BAR SCREW LOCK HMS carabiner, gray
Thanks to its compact shape and lock safety, this carabiner is used for belaying, connecting a belay device to a harness, belaying through a half boat knot, etc. The dividing bar keeps the carabiner in the main loaded axis and prevents it from turning. The H-shaped profile obtained by 3D hot forging reduces the weight of the carabiner without limiting its strength. The KeyLock lock system prevents the carabiner from getting caught during handling.
Use with partition:
- A removable divider keeps the carabiner in its main longitudinal axis and prevents it from turning and cross-loading through the lock
- The dividing partition cannot be closed unless the lock safety is closed and the lock secured
- The lock fuse cannot be opened while the partition is closed
Carabiner without divider:
- The size of the friction surfaces with the rope has been optimized to maintain fluidity while removing excess material
- The lock fuse has a new surface allowing better handling
- The smooth transition of the latch and the body of the carabiner reduces the possibility of the loop or strap getting caught in the latch or lock safety
- Thanks to the Keylock, loops or ropes do not get caught in the carabiner during handling
- The screw lock of the SCREW-LOCK lock is equipped with a locking indicator
- The friction surfaces facilitate the smooth passage of the rope and good positioning in the belay position
- Shape adapted to easy tying and untying of the boat loop
