The construction of the I-Beam profile provides an excellent ratio between strength and weight, while still maintaining excellent passability of the rope through the carabiner. The Photon Lock carabiner has a patented SphereLock nose and lock design, which increases strength under load with precise grinding. The newly adapted screw lock of the lock guarantees optimal thread slip for the easiest one-handed manipulation.
