The Patagonia Descensionist Snow 37L backcountry backpack was created for long and multi-day hikes to remote corners of the mountains. It will take a large load while still allowing you to move quickly. The organization of things will be completely intuitive with this backpack, and thanks to the specialized pockets for avalanche equipment, you will have the essential things right at hand. The durable material can withstand adverse weather and unexpected twigs. Made in a Fair Trade certified factory.
- Lightweight, abrasion-resistant fabric: Rugged, weather- and abrasion-resistant outer material withstands tough descents, but is lightweight on the way out.
- Breathable straps for long ascents: Highly breathable straps and back panel ensure comfort during long ascents. The top drawstring closure is designed for quick access and protection from the elements; the metal buckle ensures a secure fastening, allows you to fasten a rope or holds the upper part of the skis attached to the cross.
- Safety gear pocket: Safety gear pocket with organizational pouches keeps your gear ready; the ice ax can be worn outside, or it can fit inside the backpack.
- Quick side access: A long zipper on one side provides quick access to the main part of the backpack, so you can get to your supplies without having to completely fold the backpack.
- Possibilities for attaching skis and snowboards: You can carry skis or snowboards in different ways: "A", cross attachment or as a fixed board; the snowboard straps across the entire front of the backpack are removable.
- Strategically placed pockets: A top pocket holds glasses or accessories, and hip belt pockets keep tools or a snack within easy reach.
