Fenix HM23 headlamp
Fenix HM23 headlamp
The compact Fenix HM23 LED headlamp offers a luminous flux of up to 240 lumens (ANSI) and an afterglow of 53 meters. One AA pencil battery is used for power supply, with which it can last up to 100 hours in the lowest mode (more than 4 days). The headlamp in the 240 and 70 lumen modes gradually reduces power to achieve a longer lighting time.Very respectable parameters, low weight (only 60 grams) and a favorable price make the HM23 suitable for a wide range of sports, hobbies, work and everyday activities. It is suitable for evening trail running, camping, hiking, fishing and hunting. It will also serve as an emergency light in the car for unplanned situations and, thanks to its high resistance, it is also suitable as a working headlamp in difficult conditions.
The Fenix APB-20 case and a set of black AFH-02 straps without reflective elements can be purchased for the headlamp - they are suitable, for example, for the army, police or hunters.
The Fenix HM23 headlamp is the successor to the popular Fenix HL20, Fenix HL21, HL22 and HL23 headlamps.
All lamp parameters (luminous flux, battery operation time, waterproofing, afterglow and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.
Three performance modes:
- measured with the included alkaline battery: 4 lumens (100 hours) -> 70 lumens (16 hours) -> 240 lumens (8 hours)
The use:
- Unscrew the cap of the battery tube. Insert the battery with the plus pole towards the headlamp, the minus pole towards the cover.
- The headlamp is turned on and off by holding down the button (approx. 0.5 seconds). By pressing the button, the lighting modes are switched in the order of 4 - 70 - 240 lumens. The headlamp is always switched on in the lowest mode.
- Unwanted switching on of the headlamp during transport in luggage is easily prevented by loosening the battery cap approximately a quarter of a turn.
Notice:
- Do not disassemble the sealed parts yourself, this will void the warranty.
- Remove the batteries from the headlamp if you are not going to use it for a long time or if the battery is already discharged. Otherwise, some low-quality batteries may leak and damage the headlamp.
- If the headlamp flashes, does not switch to higher modes or does not light up, it may be for one of the following reasons:
- Batteries are almost empty - replace them.
- The headlight cap is enabled - tighten it.
- The electrical contacts are dirty - clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.
The light source is a top Cree LED with a warmer shade of light (neutral white). The advantage of this shade of light is a more natural and contrasting presentation of colors in nature.
