185 ROCK'N'WOOL - Original design and maximum comfort
Interesting and original colors interspersed with stripes inspired by the appearance of granite (this interesting design was created by intertwining two different colored fibers that look like different crystals of granite stones). ORTOVOX has demanding criteria for sheep breeding itself, which significantly affects the quality of their wool. In order to fulfill this, ORTOVOX only buys wool from a few selected farms that are subject to regular inspections and that meet the strict standards of the ORTOVOX WOOL PROMISE (OWP).
ORTOVOX obtains new merino wool from certified sheep farms that adhere to ethical principles of animal treatment.
Only wool from Tasmanian sheep meets the demanding requirements of the ORTOVOX brand.
These farms are regularly monitored as part of the OWP. The wool itself is 100% ecological and therefore extremely environmentally sustainable. Perfect comfort and a feeling of softness are provided by merino wool thanks to the thin fibers that make up fine woolen yarns. In addition, this wool perfectly regulates temperature and wicks away sweat, so you will feel comfortable in any conditions. Tasmanian Island
Tasmania is an island south of Australia and is only 2,500 km from Antarctica. The climate is cool with abundant rainfall and nutritious pasture for sheep. The island is strictly guarded against sheep diseases.
