Opinel Vri N°08 Inox Animalia knife

Opinel folding knife with a traditional shape and a stainless steel blade. Part of the Opinel Animalia America collection. The French oak handle is decorated with laser engraving with a highlighted image of a bear with a cub.

The blade features excellent sharpness and high abrasion (wear) resistance, allowing it to withstand regular contact with hard materials such as ceramics before requiring resharpening. The advantage of stainless steel is that, unlike carbon steel, it does not require any special maintenance under normal conditions of use. However, it may reach its limits when it comes into prolonged contact with aggressive environments (acid, salt water, cleaning agents...).

The blade is made of top-quality Sandvik stainless steel, which makes it durable, rust-resistant and stays sharp for a long time.
The oak wood used for the handle comes from sustainably managed French forests
The handle is varnished to protect against moisture and dirt
