Adventure Menu self-heating capsule

If you don't have a cooker or other heating method at hand, there is SELF-HEATING for Adventure Menu meals. SELF-HEATING, or a flameless chemical heater, is a special bag that heats your food by itself without the use of a stove or dishes in 12 minutes ! For now, you can devote yourself to other activities, such as pitch a tent, light a fire... simply, to spend time on more important activities than cooking.

The self-heating capsule is disposable and works on the principle of an exothermic reaction between quicklime and water. It creates a temperature of up to 100 °C and this hot steam heats food even in extreme conditions in 12 minutes.

Thanks to the fact that the food is enclosed in a barrier bag, no chemistry gets into it. The contents of the self-heating capsule are 100% decomposable after use, e.g. bury in nature.

We offer the self-heating capsule in two variants:
  • 30 g for heating 500 g of food (1x400 g package or 2x250 g package)
  • 60 g for heating 1 kg of food (2x400 g packaging or 4x250 g packaging or their combinations)
TIP: when using in the cold, the manufacturer recommends using a larger 60 g capsule for 1 meal.

For heating, you will need a Zipper-bag, in which the entire heating takes place.
