A new version of the best-selling waterproof running jacket. It is not for nothing that the INOV-8 STORMSHELL won the hearts of so many runners. Reliable protection against wind and water in a 174 gram package.
The cornerstone is the proven 2.5 L Pertex Shield membrane with 20,000/20,000 parameters. This is the water column and breathability according to the B-1 method. Both of these values are among the best a runner can wish for.
The 20,000 mm water column, supported by the DWR surface treatment, can withstand intense cloudbursts in higher mountain locations, and the 20,000 B-1 breathability ensures effective sweat removal even during highly intensive movement. These values clearly meet the criteria of all cross-country races where a waterproof jacket is part of mandatory equipment.
In addition to the technical parameters, an elaborate cut is also important, thanks to which the jacket does not flutter anywhere and fits perfectly without restricting freedom of movement. This also applies to the adjustable hood, which is definitely not to be missed.
Another key element is packability. The STORMSHELL is packed in its own pocket and the result is a miniature package that can also fit in a trouser pocket or a kidney and takes up practically no space in a backpack.
Reflective elements are a matter of course and a pleasant bonus of the use of recycled materials, PFC-free treatment and STANDARD 100 certification from OEKO-TEX.
