Devold ® Originals are warm and traditional sweaters made from 100% Norwegian wool. These sweaters were originally made for fishermen and other workers who tested them daily in the harsh Norwegian environment. Today, these sweaters have become popular as a second or third layer, which is ideal for cold weather. For greater wearing comfort, the sets are pre-washed so that they are soft enough and have an ideal shape.
The Devold ® Bjørnøya sweater is inspired by one of Devold's most popular Svalbard sweaters. While the original is extra thick, the Bjørnøya sweater is made from 100% pure new wool, making it extra soft, lightweight and more versatile for everyday use. Originally an old pattern designed by Italian designer Olmes Caretti, it only covers the top of the sweater, giving it a more modern look.

The world of Devold is built on the most technical and hitherto unsurpassed natural fiber, which we can process absolutely perfectly. It is made of wool, which is a 100% natural fiber with properties that no artificial fiber can replace. Its primary job is to protect you. We cannot manufacture wool, but for more than 166 years we have been able to perfectly process it and extract unique properties from it. We process the wool ourselves and our production plants are located exclusively in Europe. As the only one, we control the entire process of wool production, from sheep shearing, through spinning yarn, to weaving knitwear and sewing the final product. We are uncompromising when it comes to quality and innovation.
Material: 100% Norwegian wool, 24 micron fiber
Care: To ensure that wool retains its brilliant properties for as long as possible, wash it only by hand in environmentally friendly detergents with lanolin. Dry flat, do not wring by hand - just squeeze the water out of the product. Do not dry on a heat source. Warm sweater for cold weather.
