Comfort when wearing
Thanks to the narrow cut and extremely flexible material, they will fit you perfectly, they will not restrict you and you will have sufficient freedom of movement in any situation.
In addition , merino wool mesh inserts in the waist and inside the pockets increase the wearing comfort. Two zipped pockets and a map pocket on the right thigh offer enough space for a variety of small equipment, such as a map, mobile phone, or energy bar.
Maximum resistance
The main material of MERINO SHIELD LIGHT is made of 91% polyamide, which makes it extremely durable, which is proven by the fact that it can withstand more than 100,000 abrasion cycles in the Martindale test, which measures the material's resistance to abrasion. This means that it is one of the most durable materials used by ORTOVOX. The MERINO SHIELD LIGHT range is therefore particularly suitable for sharp rocks and adventure expeditions that require consistent protection and comfort.
The highest quality Merino wool
ORTOVOX uses only the highest quality Merino wool from Tasmania. Merino wool is a material that degrades only negligibly over time and retains its functional properties for many years. Merino wool comes only from selected farms that meet the strict standards of the ORTOVOX WOOL PROMISE (OWP).
- ORTOVOX obtains new merino wool from certified sheep farms that adhere to ethical principles of animal treatment.
- Only wool from Tasmanian sheep meets the demanding requirements of the ORTOVOX brand.
Uncompromising two-year warranty
ORTOVOX products are made of the highest quality, which is why solving any complaints is really easy. If you discover a manufacturing defect, be it a fraying seam, external fraying or a non-functioning zipper, just send the product to us and we will take care of its repair, replacement or refund. For out-of-warranty repairs, ORTOVOX has its own service center where it repairs everything.
