Maximum performance with minimum weight. The new ORTOVOX WESTALPEN 3L LIGHT line is created for the most demanding alpinists who are looking for the perfect combination of light weight, protection and functionality.
The three-layer DERMIZAX® NX membrane provides excellent protection even in the most demanding weather conditions, and the technical processing meets the needs of all alpinists. In addition, the flexible sports cut will ensure that it will not hinder your movement even in the most extreme steps on rock, ice or in mixed terrain.
DERMIZAX® NX is a non-porous membrane. Ease of maintenance, long service life and pleasant lining are the main reasons why you should be interested in this membrane . Despite its low weight, it has excellent breathability and water resistance. Taped seams offer maximum water resistance and the entire jacket has a water-repellent DWR treatment.

- Adjustable waist - with velcro and there are also straps loops. They won't push you even in combination with a climbing seat. The belt fastens with a metal stud.
- Inserts made of 120 MERINO COOL TEC material in the waist – the entire inner circumference of the waist of the trousers is lined with 120 MERINO COOL TEC material, which is very pleasant to the touch, wicks away sweat and is pleasant even after getting wet.

- 2-way side zippers - allow you to put on/take off pants without taking off your ski boots or climbing shoes, they also serve as ventilation holes (easy to adjust as needed)

Premium materials and processing
ORTOVOX WESTALPEN 3L LIGHT PANTS have an ergonomic cut and shaped knees. The lining is made of material that does not stick to the skin even when wet. This provides excellent mobility and the pants will not stick even during strenuous activity when you sweat a lot. In addition, they are made of two-way stretch material, and any movement in them will be a breeze.
Downloads and other features
At the waist, you can pull the pants down with Velcro, and there are also straps for suspenders. Nothing will push you even in combination with a seat belt. You fasten the belt using metal studs. The trousers have a drawstring bottom hem around the ankle and are reinforced on the inside of the calves with durable material to protect against being run over by cats.
Merino wool
The pants are equipped with 120 MERINO TEC material in the waist around the entire inner circumference, which is very pleasant to the touch. It wicks away sweat and is pleasant even after getting wet. Wool absorbs moisture into its core and is dry on the surface. Sweat dripping from the back is absorbed into the waist and does not flow down to the pants.
Loose trousers
You can unzip the ORTOVOX WESTALPEN 3L LIGHT PANTS with a ¾ two-way zipper. You can unfasten them both from the bottom and from the top, or just create a ventilation hole. You can secure the bottom of unbuttoned trousers with a metal stud. In addition, the zippers have locks and do not unzip on their own.
