At first glance, a quite ordinary t-shirt - but only until you spend a few hours in it and find out how incredibly comfortable and functional wool is. And beware, it is highly addictive! :)

About wool:

  • wool perfectly insulates, thus helping the body's natural thermoregulation
  • warms even when wet, is odor-resistant, quick-drying and perfectly wicks sweat away from the body
  • a material that respects the environment and your health: wool does not need to be washed as often as other natural or synthetic materials - thanks to the lanolin in the fiber, it has self-cleaning properties and after use it is enough to let it dry and air out
  • Devold takes care of animal welfare, wool production is mulesing-free

Since 1853, Devold has been taking care of the success of adventurers on mountains and poles. Rely on their knowledge and experience, too.

In order for the wool to retain its brilliant properties for as long as possible, wash it on the wool program in environmentally friendly detergents with lanolin.
The shirt can be dried in the dryer.

Short-sleeved base layer from Devold
Norse company Devold produces wool base layers. In 1853, Ole Andreas Devold founded this company in Ålesund. A tradition dating back as this one is unique - it is surely the oldest producer of the wool base layer in the world. Devold's base layers range from the light collection ''Breeze'' (which is best for the warmer months and sweatier activities) to the ''Expedition'' collection (best for very cold conditions). Other than base layers for every activity, they also make sweaters, headwear, gloves, socks and more.
