Impregnation Nikwax Conditioner for smooth skin 125 ml has a water-based composition, so it can be used on both wet and dry skin. It soaks into the skin where it is most needed and does not lead to excessive softening. The preparation was specially created and optimized for breathable waterproof shoes made of smooth leather. It cares for the skin by restoring the tannins and lubricants and can be used to kick in new skin or revive dry and cracked skin. The preparation also provides durable water resistance (DWR) to smooth leather and preserves breathability. It is non-flammable and does not contain any harmful solvents or volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and fluorocarbons.

If you have new shoes made of smooth leather, Nikwax Leather Conditioner™ can be used to step on them without them being too soft afterwards, and also provide durable water resistance (DWR). It should also be used for regular maintenance of smooth leather shoes. It supplies the skin with a replacement for lost tannins and lubricants and prevents the skin from being dry and stiff. Nikwax Leather Conditioner™ can also be used to restore the elasticity of dried leather and extend the life of footwear.

The main advantages of impregnation:
  • You can use Nikwax Leather Conditioner™ when you need to break in new leather shoes or revive leather that has become dry and cracked.
  • ideal for Gore-Tex® & SympaTex® footwear
Instructions for preparation:
  • first remove dirt with a wet cloth and clean with Nikwax Shoe Cleaning Gel Shoe Cleaning Gel™
  • shake well before use. Push the sponge applicator to break the cap.
  • apply to wet shoes. Pay attention to seams and hems.
  • wipe off the excess layer and polish with a damp cloth.
To impregnate nubuck and suede, use Nikwax Impregnation for nubuck and suede™. To impregnate fabric and leather, use Nikwax Impregnation for Fabric and Leather™.
