When the Wall Rider MIPS helmet is subjected to an oblique impact, the outer shell slides over the inner layer of the helmet. This means that some of the rotational forces acting on the head are redirected and absorbed in an impact, rather than being transmitted to the brain, reducing the risk of brain damage. The MIPS construction combines an EPP (Expanded Polypropylene) damping core with a partially hard shell for maximum safety.|
