Fenix ​​CL28R is a multifunctional rechargeable lantern with an integrated power bank. It will serve great as a rechargeable work light, a light for photographers and as a light for the home, tent or car. The highly bright COB diode provides a luminous flux of up to 2000 lumens (ANSI), the intensity of which can be continuously adjusted with a rotary control. In addition to continuously adjustable white light, the lamp also offers two red light modes - a constant luminous flux of 9 lumens and a flashing light with the same output of 9 lumens.

Thanks to the durable and impact-resistant construction with IP66 protection, the light can withstand adverse weather conditions and a fall from a height of 1.5 meters. The handle, which is rotatable by 360°, contains built-in magnets and also has a tripod thread, ensures a wide range of light attachment options.

All lamp parameters (luminous flux, battery operation time, waterproofing, afterglow and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.

Using the Fenix ​​CL28R rechargeable lantern
Turn knob A clockwise to turn on in white light mode. This allows you to smoothly regulate the light output from the lowest to the highest. Turn knob A counterclockwise to decrease power. To turn off the white light, turn control A counterclockwise until it clicks in the end position.

To change the color temperature of the lit lantern, turn knob B clockwise. The shade of light will change from the warmest to the coldest. When rotating in the opposite direction, vice versa.

Holding down the orange button on the off lamp turns it on to red light mode. Short presses of the orange button switch between steady red light and flashing. Hold down the button to turn off the red light again. The red light mode cannot be started while the white light is on, the white light must first be turned off with the rotary control A. If you want to switch from the red light mode to the white light mode, just turn on the white light by turning the knob A clockwise.

Battery capacity indication
When the lantern is off, briefly press the orange button to activate the four status LEDs on the front of the lantern. The number of lit LEDs indicates the approximate level of battery charge (20-40%, 40-60%, 60-80%, more than 80%). When the batteries are discharged below 20% capacity, the last status LED starts to flash.

Charging the Fenix ​​CL28R lantern
To charge the light, unfold the rubber cover of the USB connectors. Connect it using the included USB cable to a computer, USB network adapter or USB car adapter. A standard mobile phone charger with a USB-C connector can also be used for charging. During charging, the status LEDs flash from left to right, after full charge they all light up permanently. After charging is complete, make sure that the rubber cover of the connectors is closed carefully to prevent dirt from entering.

The battery does not suffer from a memory effect, so it can be recharged at any time and there is no need to wait until it is discharged. Charging a completely discharged lantern takes about 4 hours (depending on the power of the charging source used).

The light can be used even while charging.

To power external USB devices (powerbank function), connect the cable to the USB-C or USB-A connector (it is not possible to use both at the same time). The status LEDs then flash from right to left. As soon as the battery voltage drops too much (below 2.9 V), the powerbank function stops. The light can also be used while charging other devices.

Warning
Do not disassemble the sealed parts yourself, this will void the warranty. If the lamp flashes, does not switch to higher power modes, or does not light up, the battery is discharged - charge it.
