The fourth generation of the tactical flashlight with the name Fenix ​​TK35 Ultimate Edition V2.0 brings a luminous flux of up to 5000 lumens (ANSI) and a wide, continuous cone with an afterglow of up to 400 meters. It also achieves these parameters thanks to three high-performance Luminus SST40 LEDs. The lamp is recommended to be powered by two 18650 li-ion batteries or four CR123A batteries. In an emergency, two CR123A batteries or just one 18650 battery can be used. However, the highest modes will not be available with them. The lamp is equipped with a rotary control, which can be used to lock the control or choose one of the two modes of use. In tactical mode, the light can be turned on to 3500 lumen mode or to a stroboscope with the same power. In service mode, it is possible to choose between five lighting modes (30 - 350 - 800 - 2000 - 5000 lumens) and a strobe. In the lowest mode, it can shine for up to 85 hours. Thanks to the arrangement of the batteries next to each other, the lamp is surprisingly short and fits perfectly in the hand. The precise and waterproof design according to the IP68 standard predestines this tactical light primarily for demanding outdoor conditions. It will be great for security forces in search and rescue operations, but also for hunting and other outdoor activities.

All lamp parameters (luminous flux, battery operation time, waterproofing, afterglow and impact resistance) are measured in accordance with the ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009 standard.

The use

The lamp offers three modes. It switches between individual modes with a rotary wheel, which is located at the end of the light.

Service mode - to turn on, press the main switch of the lamp. Then, with further short presses of the smaller button (located in the middle of the rotary controller), the modes are cyclically changed in the order of 30 - 350 - 800 - 2000 - 5000 lumens. To activate the strobe, hold down the smaller button for about 1 second. To switch back to constant lighting, press the smaller button again or turn the lamp off and on. In service mode, the lamp remembers the last set mode, except for the stroboscope.

Tactical mode - press the main switch to turn the light on and off. Only 3500 lumen mode is available in tactical mode. If the light is on in tactical mode, you activate the strobe by pressing the smaller button. Press it again to deactivate the strobe.

Locking - the third position on the rotary selector locks the lamp and it cannot be turned on - suitable, for example, when transporting in luggage. The lamp can be locked in the off and on state, locking turns the lamp off at the same time. Locking is signaled by permanent green-red flashing of the indicator LEDs in the button, which can help, for example, to find a lamp in the dark. The lock indication can be turned off or on again by holding down the smaller button for 3 seconds.

Turning on the light directly to the stroboscopic mode - press and hold the smaller switch on the rotary button, the stroboscope will be active as long as it is held.

Intelligent protection against overheating - after exceeding the temperature of 60 °C, the lamp will automatically gradually reduce power, after cooling below this limit, the highest modes will be available again.

Battery capacity indication - after turning on the lamp, the colored LED indicator in the switch lights up for 3 seconds. If the indicator light is green, the battery is charged to more than 85%. Green flashing means 50-85% capacity. If it lights up red, the battery is charged to 25-50%. Blinking red means there is less than 20% battery capacity left. The indication works correctly only with the use of Fenix ​​18650 batteries.

Warning of exhausted batteries - the lamp will gradually automatically switch to the lowest power mode and the indicator diode in the switch button will start flashing red.

Warning

• Do not disassemble the sealed parts of the lamp yourself, this will void the warranty.
• Never use different discharged batteries or batteries with different capacities.
• Use only high-quality batteries and accumulators to avoid damage to the lamp, for example due to leakage of substances from the battery.
• If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after a long period of use, replace them. The rings must also be lubricated to prevent rubber erosion. By following these rules, the lamp will be properly protected against water.
• If the light flickers, does not switch to higher power modes, or does not light up, it may be for one of the following reasons:
  
  • Batteries are almost empty - replace them.
  • The contacts inside the lamp or battery holder are dirty - clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.
  • The lamp body is loose - add lubricant to the sealing rings and tighten.
