The rechargeable lamp Fenix ​​PD40R V3.0 offers a great light output of up to 3000 lumens and a afterglow of up to 500 meters. The lamp has six different lighting modes, which are easily switched using the rotating ring on the head of the lamp. The package also includes a rechargeable 21700 Li-ion battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh, which is charged directly in the lamp via a modern USB-C connector. The use

From the factory, there may be an insulating cap inside the lamp on the battery, remove it before the first use.

To turn on, turn the control ring to the right. Changing modes is done by turning the control ring (to increase power to the right, to decrease it to the left). In the extreme right position is the strobe and one position in front of it is SOS. Turn off the lamp by turning the ring to the extreme left position.

Intelligent protection against overheating - if the temperature of the lamp rises above 60 °C, it automatically starts to reduce the power in gradual steps, as soon as the temperature of the lamp drops below 60 °C, it is possible to use the highest power again.

Indication of the battery charge status - every time it is switched on, the indicator LED next to the charging connector is activated for three seconds. If the indicator light is green, the battery is charged to more than 85%. Green flashing means 50-85% capacity. If it lights up red, it is charged to 25-50%. Blinking red means there is less than 25% battery capacity left.

Charging - unfold the rubber cover of the charging connector on the side of the lamp and plug in the attached cable (USB-C connector), plug the other end of the cable into the computer, or the USB adapter into the electrical network or car. During charging, the indicator next to the charging connector lights up red. It lights up green when fully charged. Charging a fully discharged battery takes about 3 hours (with a 2A power supply). During charging, the lamp can be used in 30 and 350 lumen modes.

Warning of an empty battery - the lamp will gradually automatically switch to the lowest mode and the indicator LED on the side will start flashing red.

Warning

• Do not disassemble the sealed parts in the lamp head yourself, this will void the warranty.
• If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after a long period of use, replace them. The rings must also be lubricated to prevent rubber erosion. By following these rules, the lamp will be properly protected against water.
• If the light flickers, does not switch to higher power modes, or does not light up, it may be for one of the following reasons:
  
  • The battery is dead, charge it.
  • The contacts inside the lamp are clogged - clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.
  • The back part of the lamp is loose, tighten it.
