The size and shape also helps peripheral vision, which enhances driving safety. The Mid model has slightly reduced dimensions compared to its larger sibling, to accommodate riders with smaller faces.
The double lenses are made of a combination of polycarbonate (PC) and cellulose propionate (CP). The POC brand has them manufactured by the Zeiss company, which is a guarantee of their perfect optical properties. The lenses are treated against fogging and scratching and have ventilation holes that help air flow and reduce fogging of the glasses.
The frame with soft foam sits comfortably on the face and remains flexible even at extremely low temperatures.
