And that's why X-TALON ULTRA 260 comes. The sole is based on the cult aggressive X-TALON 225 grip, with the difference that the studs have a larger area to handle more loads.
The height of the spikes is a respectable 8mm, so the X-TALON ULTRA 260 will get you out of the biggest mud or deep melting snow without hesitation. The peripheral part of the sole has a harder compound for a perfect grip in mud and snow, the inner part, on the other hand, has soft contact rubber with excellent adhesion on stones and rock.
The POWERFLOW midsole has a drop of 8 mm and is composed of two parts. The heel part has a softer compound and offers a 10% higher level of damping, the front part has a higher density, so it is slightly harder and will offer a more accurate and effective bounce. The protective polymer ring DFB copies the shape of the plantar fascia and easily aids the rebound (spring effect) during an effective running style.
The upper is made of extremely durable ballistic nylon with a waterproof coating. This material ensures the unchanged shape of the upper even in case of total soaking. The seamlessness of the upper will offer great comfort. The triple-reinforced tip will protect your toes from kicking any obstacle. The upper is enormously firm and due to this, the breathability of the shoe is understandably reduced.
The soft heel is sensitive to the heels and achilles, and in the case of growths on the heel, it can be easily activated and customized to such deformed feet with the help of heating.
You will appreciate the unrivaled grip, strength and robustness of this shoe on the longest obstacle runs, in orienteering or on a difficult technical trail.
