We present you the revolutionary TERRA ULTRA G 270 crossbow, which comes with several changes and improvements that move the INOV-8 to a hitherto unknown level. The most important change concerns the cushioning layer. The power of the damping is double compared to the previous generation TERRA ULTRA, and the damping material itself has also undergone a major update. The basis of the shoe is a brand new PowerFlow MAX foam with unrivaled softness and top energy return. The overall comfort is significantly affected by the new BOOMERANG 6mm insole, again made of high-energy TPU foam. The softness and comfort achieved with the TERRA ULTRA G 270 is incomparable to any INOV-8 "old era" shoes. But it wouldn't be us if we sacrificed nature and a great feeling for the terrain at the expense of comfort.
Total damping rate incl. the insole is 18 millimeters. This value is high enough that you can comfortably run indefinitely and at the same time low enough to keep the whole shoe as flexible as possible and to read the terrain perfectly. High proprioception is also supported by the zero drop, which, thanks to the overall softness of the damping, even beginners and hobby runners do not have to worry about.
The zero drop remains a specific feature of this model. However, due to the revised damping, the new TERRA ULTRA G 270 is more accessible to less experienced runners who do not have the ideal technique of running across the front of the foot. Thanks to the heavier midsole, the protection of the foot against collisions has also increased significantly when running on a rocky trail.
Despite the double damping, the TERRA ULTRA G 270 gained only 10 grams. In addition to energy savings, this also has a positive effect on the high dynamics and flexibility, which is much higher compared to the original TU G 260. You will use these features especially in tempo running and combined surface racing. Flexible TPU cushioning will ensure that you do not want to run slow in this shoe.
The sole was also slightly reworked. The changes are slight at first glance, but the resulting effect will take your breath away. The new pattern has a radically more reliable grip even in more technical trails and on soft surfaces. Great emphasis is still placed on the versatility of the entire shoe, so the grip is not so sharp as to limit you when running on roads and paved roads. The use of graphene is a matter of course for the unrivaled ratio between adhesion and durability
The upper remains taut on our widest hoof (5, standard fit), but is newly made of more sophisticated materials with very high durability. Life testing of the prototypes took several long months, and even with intensive use in a stony environment, we did not encounter the slightest problem. Forget the kevlar, which is practically indestructible, but did not suit everyone due to its strength and hardness. TERRA ULTRA G 270 uses a combination of structured fabric covered with durable rubber coating and the upper sits on the foot like a glove.
