Do you want maximum safety, grip and speed in soft terrain? That's what the brand new MUDTALON SPEED wants. A nimble running shoe for waterlogged and muddy environments.
The upper of the shoe has everything you need in difficult terrain. The breathable nylon material is resistant to water and mechanical damage. The solid rubber protector on the toe and the surrounding cast around the entire perimeter of the shoe increases the durability of the upper and stabilizes and protects the foot inside the shoe. The sewn-in tongue prevents dirt from getting inside. The stabilization cradle leading from the laces to the cushioning layer firmly fixes the foot in difficult terrain even at high speed.
There are two widths to choose from. Narrow fit "precision" (width 95 mm in UK 8) and wide fit wide (105 mm in UK 8). Especially with a narrow cut, there is an anatomically expanded space for the thumb, which is necessary for a correct and natural reflection. You are currently viewing the Precision narrow variant.
The midsole with lightweight POWERFLOW LITE foam offers a greater degree of cushioning in the heel part and, on the other hand, is stiffer in the front part for better rebound control. 11 millimeter high cushioning under the heel in combination with a 6 millimeter BOOMERANG insole is more than satisfactory for fast running in soft terrain. The 4 millimeter high drop helps the dynamic control of the step even more.
The midsole is supplemented with a flexible META PLATE reinforcement protecting against sharp stones. All this without losing the flexibility of the shoe.
The 8 mm high studs dig into the mud like a sharp claw and will hold you even in the biggest marsh. The STICKY GRIP soft rubber has improved traction especially on wet stones. Thanks to this, MUDTALON SPEED meets the requirements of all orienteers, mountain climbers, cross-country skiers, OCR racers or canicross skiers.
