We managed to combine comfortable and stable cushioning with perfect flexibility and the ability to adapt to the surface you run on. The icing on the cake is the brand new G-FLY cushioning foam enriched with graphene for maximum durability and energy return. The ultimate solution to the age-old question "What to run ultra-trail in?" it's called TRAILFLY.
The TRAILFLY ULTRA G 300 is the most cushioned shoe we've ever produced. The damping layer reaches a thickness of 25 millimeters. This is 25% more than any other "Innovations" in the entire history of the brand. The overall comfort is significantly influenced by the new 6 mm BOOMERANG insole, which is made of high-energy TPU foam.
Cushioning and comfort are undoubtedly the key and at the same time the most desirable features of running shoes. This is doubly true when wearing ultratrail shoes, because with increasing kilometers it is important to keep the feet in maximum comfort. When running in the field, in addition to comfort, you also need maximum stability and the ability to read the terrain to avoid sprains or falls. That's why we used the patented ADAPTER FLEX technology at TRAILFLY - a 10mm deep notch in the middle part of the cushioning, which radically increases the flexibility of the entire shoe and thus its ability to perceive the terrain. The 6 mm drop also plays an important role here, supporting the natural work of the foot.
Another revolutionary innovation is the G-FLY cushioning foam. The very first damping material in the world with graphene. Graphene is a Nobel Prize-winning material. 200 times stronger than steel, yet extremely flexible and extremely light. The combination of foam and graphene allowed us to achieve such high values in terms of durability and energy return that many other shoes cannot boast of.
The TRAILFLY sole is based on the proven TERRA ULTRA concept. The basic shape of the plugs is very similar, but their distribution differs. Our goal was to maximize the support of the flexibility of the entire shoe without having to sacrifice anything from the top grip designed for the universal trail. TRAILFLY is not afraid of long runs on asphalt and will also support you on stony rubble or technical forest terrain.
The upper is stretched on the widest hoof (5), standard fit, and here we find a strong influence of the TERRA ULTRA G 270 model. The fit of the foot inside the shoe is firm and reliable, but in no way uncomfortable. The materials used combine breathability, light weight and durability in an ideal way. Despite its wide cut, the TRAILFLY can adapt very well to runners with a narrower foot shape. During long runs, you will appreciate the ample space for the toes and the natural work of the transverse arch. A rubber toe protector and a cast along the entire lower edge must not be missing, which protects against moisture and damage to the upper from all the pitfalls of the trail.
