The Craft CTM Ultra Carbon Trail builds on the proven principles of a carbon racing shoe and takes this concept off-road into the woods and mountains.
The base of the shoe is a curved carbon sheet inside a massive cushioning layer with an extremely high energy return. This combination will fire you up and is proven to increase the efficiency of your run.
In the field, however, it's not just about dynamics. An ideal racing shoe must also offer grip and stability, and the CTM Ultra Carbon Trail definitely does not disappoint in this regard.
The sole is made up of an aggressive Vibram Megagrip pattern, so you can rely 100% on grip when running on stones and in mud. Megagrip from Vibram is the gold standard not only among trail shoes.
The stability is more than good for such a massive shoe. The midsole with a thickness of 40 millimeters makes maximum use of the energy return potential and, thanks to the carbon plate, full-surface sole and solid upper, it will not disappoint even in more technical passages.
CTM Ultra Carbon Trail is not a shoe created for Skyrunning and other extremely technical running disciplines. However, in the context of trail running in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, the Ultra Carbon Trail is perfectly usable on almost any track. The faster and faster the race, the more you will use the advantages of this shoe.
The upper is made of durable and strong fabric, which holds the foot firmly in place and easily withstands the pitfalls of the trail. Additional support is given to the upper by a rubber toe protector and a TPU cast around the entire perimeter of the shoe.
